What would I say to my main character?

Do not read this unless you have read to the end of chapter 14. Right now I would tell Lena, the main character that she should keep rebelling. I would tell her that the government that she lives in is the worst and that she shouldn't believe what the government wants her to believe. I would tell her that the deliria isn't bad and that it's a good thing. I would also tell her that she needs to not mess up the relationships that she has with Hana and with Alex. However, the biggest thing that I would stress if I got to talk to Lena right now is the fact that she should not ever let herself get the cure and that she needs to be brave.

I would say all of these things because before she was a weak character that didn't stand up against the society that she lived in, that went along with the government even though it was doing so many bad things, and someone who didn't welcome change, even though it was good in the beginning of the book, but now she's rebelling. I would say these things because not only would it be a boring book if nothing happened, but I would want to tell Lena that she is doing the right thing. She grew up in a society that only let the citizens in the country believe what they wanted them to. I think that Lena really just needs to know that the government was wrong all along and that she needs to not believe in most of the things that they do. Lena needs to know that she needs to stand up and rebel against the society that she is living in. She needs to know that she really needs the courage to do so.
