The main character in Delirium is Lena. She is not very self confident and has trouble saying what is on her mind. Like in the exams when she want to say that her favorite color in blue, but she for some reason says it is grey. Lena says she feels like she is two completely different people. She is always thinking how she can't wait to get the cure for Delira, but she doesn't know what this means at first. She is also very nervous about things on the inside, but doesn't show it.
Overall I like Lena, because she seems like a nice person and she cares for her cousin Grace. I also sort of don't like her, because she can't wait to be cured of Deleria. In the beginning she completely buys everything the government is trying to brainwash into her mind. She believes that Deliria(love) is a terrible thing and can drive people mad, but really you need to have love in your life.
I agree that she is a very nervous and not confident person. I think she needs to be more rebellious and outgoing like Hana to make the story much more interesting! Otherwise, if she didn't change, the story would be very boring.
