Delirium Conflict
I feel like the conflict in this book is man vs society. Lena Doesn't want to get caught because she feels like sense her mother got the disease than she must be extra careful. Getting the disease would be REALLY bad. Therefore she can't take any chances. Lena is becoming less and less scared to be adventurous but she is still very afraid to get caught. The government is not allowing anyone to get the "disease" of love. If anyone even shows symptoms of it they will be severely punished or forced to receive the "procedure" early. The procedure in my case makes you a living zombie. You change your way of live. It brain washes you into thinking that everything the government says is true. Stupid government. The procedure also makes you incapable of love. You become boring and plain and most of all, totally and completely brainwashed. I hope that Lena can beat the conflict she is in. I can't wait to continue reading and find out.
