     Lauren Taylor is the awesome human being to create the series of Delirium.Before Delirium she wrote Before I Fall.Before I Fall was her debut novel that really showed the world and her readers who she is.After Delirium she wrote Pandemonium and Hana the sequels to Delirium.In the back of her book you can find an exclusive interview with the author herself.So where did she get the idea to write her series? Well as one of her answers she says that she got the idea for her book from an essay she read by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

   Ms.Taylor has said that during that essay the author talked about how great books were about love or death.She says that "I had always hoped I would be able to extend the story."She talks about how she thought about that quote from the essay and how she could turn it into a modern love story.The actual sickness in the book came from her watching a report about the flu. Somehow love and disease just popped into her head.Overall I think that some of the best ideas generate from others. Lauren Taylor definitely shows that others can absolutely influence our ideas.
