Don't read unless you have read to the end of chapter 6. In the story the characters are struggling with the conflict of man vs. society. In the story, the government is controlling everything from the time they need to be in their house at night to one of the biggest things in the book, making them take the cure. However, Lena is starting to not like all of this it seems, since he has lied to her aunt and gone to go see Alex. However, there is some man vs. man conflict in the story because Lena couldn't decide if she should go see Alex, and now she thinks that wasn't exactly the right thing to do.
This is just the start of the conflict and Lena could already get herself in big trouble with the government, so I think that when they do solve all this conflict, it will not happen without causing more hurt. I think that since the conflict is her against her whole government, it will not be easy for her to go against everyone and win.
