I would say, "Lena, why do you not want ot get the procedure just because of Alex. Your life was perfectly fine before he showed up and you just fell for him. You could have been a regular girl just waiting to get her procedure done but you just had to defy everything and decide that you love him. This is your only place where you have a home and once you get the procedure done you won't have to feel pain or anything and then you can have a happy normal life. I know that you really love him but think about it, you don't want to end up like your mother and have the disease and end up having the procedure a bunch of times and end up killing yourself and by loving Alex, it's a one way street to becoming like your mother." I would say this because I believe that Alex is the whole reason that Lena is becoming like her mother and falling in love and not wanting to do anything society says to do.

I would ask her this. "Lena, when was the last time you stopped to think, hey I am not following the rules at all and I never wanted to be like my mother but in a way, I am. Why am I doing this to myself?" "How come you let yourself free and just love Alex. You used to be a very follow the rules type of girl and now you just want to throw everything away? Your life, your secured future?" I would say this to her because I liked it when she was a calm girl who would never imagine this to happen to her and I just don't want her making a decision that makes everyone think she ended up just like her mother even though Lena's last thing she would want to be is her mother.

Lastly I would ask her " Why do you think that Hana is covering all of this up for you? She wasn't really into it when you told her and now she's will to say that you are sleeping over at her house when really you're sneaking out. I think you should ask about that." I would say this to her because Hana used to not like Lena and Alex "dating" but now she is willing to cover up? I think that in the end something sneaky will happen with Hana and her whole relationship with Lena could be ruined.
